Note:

DEATH OF MRS. GRANT. The very sad death occurred on Monday evening last of Mrs. Grant, wife of Mr. Duncan Grant, of Mullamuddy, who had been an inmate of Nurse Guest's private hospital for almost a fortnight. The deceased lady had attained the age of 27 years and the circumstances surrounding her demise were exceptionally sad, as a little, newly-born baby girl was left. Intense sorrow was expressed by the residents of Mullamuddy, when the news spread that Mrs. Duncan Grant had passed away, as she and her husband were highly respectted. The late Mrs. Grant was a daughter of Mr. James Rayner, of Limestone. The remains were conveyed to Limestone on Tuesday, and placed in the Methodist Church there, and the funeral started at 11 o'clock on Wednesday morning for the Cudgegong cemetery, where the Rev. J. B. Penman officiated at the graveside. The funeral was very largely attended (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Thursday 21 March 1912, p. 19).

Note:

THE LATE MRS. G. PERRAM Residents of Cudgegong and Rylstone were deeply shocked this week to learn of the death of Mrs Perram wife of Mr. George Perram, of Glenbrook, Cudgegong. She died on Tuesday night at a private hospital in Rylstone. About a week ago Mrs Perram gave birth to twins, both of whom died. She was only 38 years of age and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rayner, Gulgamree. She leaves a husband and nine children, the eldest being 16 years of age. The funeral takes place to-day at 12 noon in the Church of England portion of the Cudgegong cemetery. Mrs. Perram was beloved by a wide circle of friends, and we join with them in tendering sincere sympathy to the bereaved family (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Thursday 13 July 1922, p. 17).

Note:

DEATH OF MRS WILLIAM RHODES. It is with regret that we report the death of Mrs. William Rhodes, of Gulgamree on Tuesday in a private hospital in Mudgee. Deceased was a widow, her husband predeceasing her about five years ago. She was only 36 years of age and is survived by a little daughter about seven years old. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rayner, of Gulgamree. A very sad feature is the fact that she is the third daughter who has died within the last thirteen months, Mrs. Jack Perram, of Carwell, and Mrs. George Perram, of Cudgegong predeceasing her within that period. The remains were conveyed to the Presbyterian portion of the Cudgegong cemetery yesterday afternoon, the Rev. T. McDougall, of Mudgee, officiating at the graveside. Deceased's father, Mr. James Rayner, is also very ill. Mr. J. C. Swords of Mudgee, had charge of the funeral arrangements (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Thursday 30 August 1923, p. 28).
