CRUDINE

The hand of death has been in our midst, removing from amongst us Mrs. John Heath, who died at the residence of Mr. T. Heath on the 1st October at the ripe old age of 88. Deceased had been ailing from a cold, from which she had partiallyrecovered, but a relapse caused her death. She was buried in the local cemetery, the funeral being largely attended. DEATH AT. CLANDULLA

Mrs Sarah Jane Hall, wife of Mr Henry Hall, of Clandulla, and formerly of Crudine and Running Stream, passed away on Friday last and was buried, in the Church of England portion of the Rylstone General Cemetery. Mrs Hall, who was 79 years of age, wasthe mother of Mrs A. Heath, of Clandulla, and Matron Hall. Rev. Fr. Kircher conducted the service at the graveside. (Mudgee Guardian and North Western Representative, Thursday 25 February 1937, p. 20).

The death occurred on Friday of Sarah Jane Hall, wife of Mr, Henry Hall at the age of 79, after an illness extending for nearly 12 months. The late Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Heath (Clandulla) and Matron Hall.The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon, and was largely attended. Interment was made in the Anglican portion of Rylstone General Cemetery. (Lithgow Mercury, Wednesday 24 February 1937, p. 6).

Obituary Agnes Heath The death of Mrs. Agnes Heath, widow of the late Arthur Heath, occurred at a convalescent home in Brookvale on May 2 after a long period of forced inactivity. For about 30 years Mr. and Mrs. Heath ran the general store and post office at Clandulla where Mrs. Heath proved herself a friend and counsellor of many travellers. About the middle 50's they retired to Kandos where Mr. Heath died. For most of his life he was interested in running his property at "Harley", Crudine, still in the family name. Mrs. Heath's name will be affectionately remembered by many. Deepest sympathy is extended to her two daughters Laurel (Mrs. L. Wilson), Kandos, and Myrtle (Mrs. Ted Douglas, Dee Why). In addition, she leaves four grandchildren. A service was held at the chapel of the Northern Suburbs Crematorium for the late Mrs. Heath on Monday, May 4. Mudgee Guardian Friday 15 May 1970 p. 6

Burial of ashes Mrs. Agnes Heath The casket containing the ashes of Mrs. Agnes Heath, who died recently in Sydney, were interred in a grave alongside that of her late husband, Mr. Arthur Heath in the Rylstone Cemetery, last week. The Rector of Kandos conducted a simple service at the graveside. There were present a number of relatives and close friends. Mrs. Laurie Wilson, of Kandos, is a daughter.
