Obituary Notice May Cafe The death occurred on May 22, of Mrs. May Cafe (87) of 6 Mealey Street, Mudgee. Mrs. Cafe was born at Cullenbone and later moved to 'Tilecote Farm', Lawson's Creek, Mudgee. May Betts and John (Jack) Cafe were married at Tilecote Farm on July 6, 1918, after which they moved to Warrangunyah, Ilford and later settling at 'Sunnyside' Ilford. John was a farmer and grazier. The family moved to Mudgee after Mrs Cafe suffered a cerebral hemorrage. They resided in Mealey Street for 26 years. Mrs. Cafe is survived by three sisters Clara (Mrs. Bucholtz, Sydney), Flo (Mrs. Meyers, Condell Park) and Gladys (Mrs. Hardy, Mudgee) and three sons and three daughters, Douglas (Kandos), Austin (Bathurst), Melba (Penrith), Joyce (deceased), Lola (Mudgee), Rebecca (Guildford) and Leslie (Mudgee).
