MR. HUGH CAUGHEY The death occurred at his residence, Bombira, on Friday, of Mr. Hugh Caughey, a very old and respected resident of the Mudgee district aged 79. The deceased had been ailing for about six months. The late Mr. Caughey had lived in the Mudgee district practically all his life. Mr. Caughey was the owner of some fine farming and grazing property at Lawson's Creek and Bombira. He was a devoted worker for St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Mudgee, from as far back as the time of the late Rev. Alexander McEwen. The remains were interred in the Presbyterian portion of the Mudgee general cemetery yesterday afternoon. The Rev. R. Bourne Garner officiating at the graveside. Mr. J. C.
