Marriage | July 1915 St Johns, Wellington, New South Wales, Australia Latitude: S32.552087 Longitude: E148.945213Google Maps™Bing Maps™OpenStreetMap™ Wedding. PARKINS—GLEW. Rev. Canon R. Barry Brown solemnised a marriage at St. John's Church, Wellington, the parties being George Parkins, son of Mr. Samuel Parkins, of Budgee Budgee, and Violet May Glew, daughter of Mrs. Glew of Rylstone. The bride was dressed in cream silk voile, wore a wreath and veil, and carried the customary bouquet. She was attended by Mrs. Louisa Parkins, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, while Mr. James Parkins (ber) acted as best man. There was a reception held at the residence of Mrs. Coupland, but otherwise the union was celebrated quietly, owing to a recent death in the family of the bridegroom.
