WEDDINGS.

BURNS - BRANSCOMBE. On May 7, at St. Matthew's Church, Manly, the wedding of Miss Bessie Branscombe, eldest daughter of the late W. R. Branscombe and Mrs. Branscombe, of Manly, to Mr. H. R. Burns, only son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Burns, of Mosman, was celebrated by the Rev. A. Ebbs. The bride was given away by her brother She wore a gown of ivory georgette and lace, with a veil of Limerick lace, which had been lent by Mrs. H. Marks, of Neutral Bay. A sheaf of pink and white rosebuds completed the bridal ensemble. Miss Nell Branscombe and Miss Jean Branscombe were the bridesmaids. Miss Nell Branscombe was in lemon satin, and Miss Jean Branscombe wore a frock of blue satin. Miss Valerie Boyle was the flower girl. She wore a dress of pink satin. Mr. G. Upton was the best man, and Mr. Keith Wallace the groomsman. The reception was held at Warrawee, Ocean Beach. The bride's mother received the guests, wearing a frock of navy blue georgette and carrying a bouquet of red roses and carnations.
