A gem ring and pedant respectively and a bouquet were the gifts of the bride-groom. Mr. C. Algar was the best man, and Mr. Sid Ellis groomsman. The bridal procession was preceded into the church by a choir of surpliced boys. Mr. Lenton presided at the organ, and Miss Rica Nitszchman sang a solo. The reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents, where the usual toasts were honored prior to the departure of Mr. and Mr. Brian for a mountain tour, embracing Blackhealth, Jenolan Caves, Medlow Bath, and Katoomba (Raleigh Sun, Friday 30 April 1909, page 5).
