Obituary.

The death occurred on Monday evening of Mr. James Perram, of Oakey Creek, near Cudgegong. Nearly three months ago the deceased met with a buggy accident, and since then he was an inmate of Mrs. Crawford's private hospital, under the care of Dr. Nickoll. From the first the case was viewed with grave concern, and when the end came on Monday it caused no surprise. Mr. Perram, who was widely respected, was in his sixty second year, and is survived by three sons and six daughters. Messrs Alfred and George, two of the sons reside at Cudgegong, and the other is in Queensland. Of the daughters Mrs. J. W. Farrar and Mrs. Taylor reside in Rylstone, Mrs. Thew and Miss Bella in Sydney, and Miss May at Cudgegong. The family will have wide sympathy in their sad bereavement. (Mudgee Guardian and North Western Representative Thursday 17 August 1905, p. 13)

Note: MRS. EMMA MOON

MRS. EMMA MOON The death occurred at her residence Hillside, last night, of Mrs. Emma Moon, aged 68 years. Deceased was not in good health for some weeks past. About ten days ago she got worse and had to take to her bed. She was born at Rylstone, her father being the late Mr. James Perram. With the exception of about 20 years (when she lived at Warren), she had resided in this district all her life. Her husband, the late Mr. David Francis Moon, predeceased her by 31 years. She was greatly esteemed throughout the district and nearly all relatives reside in the district. Two sons - Edward (Gulgong) and George (Sydney), and four daughters, Mrs. T. K. Bennett (Appletree Flat), Mrs. W. Wilson (Sydney), Mrs. Harold Barton (Mudgee), and Mrs. F. Shield (Mudgee) survive her. The late Mrs. E. Barton, of Mudgee, was also a daughter. She is also survived by five bers, including Mr. C. J. Perram (Cudgegong), E. Perram (Coonamble), and L. Perram (Trangie) and one sister, Mrs. T. Shanklin (Coonamble). The funeral will leave her late residence at 2.30 p.m., tomorrow. She will be interred in the Church of England portion of the general cemetery. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Thursday 3 June 1915, p. 15).

Obituary

Death. Mr. C. G. Perram. Death has claimed another of our well-known and highly-respected district residents, in the person of Mr. Charles Griffith Perram, after a brief illness arising from the bursting of a blood vessel in the head. The deceased was 71 years of age. He was a native of Rylstone, whither his parents came to reside amongst the early settlers. He was a man of fine physique and robust constitution. Except for the few years spent in Queensland when a young man, the deceased had resided in the district all his life, and was much respected. His wife survives, and with her family of six sons and three daughters mourn the great loss of an exemplary husband and father. The daughters are Mrs. H. Sheppard (Cudgegong), Mrs. R. J. Doherty (Queanbeyan), and Miss Perram (of the Public Instruction service). The sons are Messrs. J. C. Perram (Balmoral, near Stony Pinch), R. H. Perram (Dunedoo), D. J. Perram (Randwick, and the younger brothers, V. A., and Carl, residing with their mother. The sixth son is Corporal Thomas Malcolm Perram, of the Public Instruction Department, who recently enlisted for the front. The funeral took place on Sunday last in the Anglican portion of the Cudgegong cemetery, where, too, lie the remains of the father and mother, and other members of the original family.
