Death of a brother | Patrick Canary 22 March 1912 OBITUARY. Mr. Patrick Canary. Rylstone, One of the oldest residents of Rylstone, Mr. Patrick Canary, died on the 22nd of March, at the ripe age of 73 years. Born in Co. Clare, Ireland, the deceased arrived with his parents in Sydney at the early age of two years, and has resided inthe Rylstone district for the past 71 years, where he was well known and highly respected. During his many years of residence there, the deceased dispensed hospitality to one and all, and his many acts of charity will live long in the memory ofthose who knew him. During his illness he was attended by the RevFather Corbettt, and was fortified with all the rites of Holy Church. He is survived by his widow, one ber, Mr. J. Canary, of Sofala; and three sisters - Mrs. Hugh Farrelly (of Fairview, Rylstone), Mrs. J. O'Donoghue (Sydney), and Mrs. P.Callaghan (Queensland). Mr. Canary was step father to Mr. T. J. King, of Rosedale Station (Rylstone), Mr. L. J. King (Coolah), and Nurse King (Coonamble). Mr. Canary's family received numerous. letters and wires of sympathy. The funeral tookplace on Sunday, and was largely attended, all societies and creeds being present. The Rev. Father Corbett officiated at the graveside. - R.I.P. Death of a sister | Honorah Canary 12 November 1924 DEATH OF MRS. FARRELLY. On Wednesday, November 12, there passed away at her residence at Rylstone, Mrs. Farrelly, relict of the late Phillip Farrelly, aged 76 year. Her remains were interred in the Catholic portion of the Rvlstone cemetery, a large concourse of relatives and friends attending the funeral. The Rev. Father Corbett officiated at the graveside.
