Rylstone - Kandos News Obituary Mrs. E. I. MULHOLLAND Deep sorrow was felt in Rylstone and district on Saturday last when it became known that Mrs. Elsie Isabella Mulholland had passed away at her home, “Heathersleigh”, after an illness lasting eleven weeks. The late Mrs. Mulholland, who was 71 years of age, was predeceased by her husband in 1938. She was born in the district and lived here all her life. All charitable organisations will remember her for her wonderful help. During the war years her work for Red Cross was invaluable. Deceased is survived by three daughters, Sylvia (Mrs. McAndrew, Rylstone), Clarice (Mrs. W. Dodds, Warragamba) and Esme (Mrs. E. George, Rylstone), also twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. To the family the deepest sympathy is extended. The funeral, which was largely attended and at which a wealth of floral tributes covered the casket and Chancel steps, took place from St. James’ Church of England to the local cemetery, Rev. H. Davy conducted the last rites. The arrangements were in the hands of Mr. N. Brown. Mudgee Guardian, Thursday 28 May 1960, p. 7. Obituary Elsie Isabella Mulholland
