Mrs. Catherine Wood The sudden and sad death occurred in the Mudgee District Hospital on Friday afternoon last of Mrs. Catherine Wood at the age of 63. Deceased was very well known and highly esteemed in Mudgee. She was the wife of Mr. Arthur Wood of Inglis Street. To the bereaved husband and grown-up family our deepest sympathy is extended. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon to the Catholic portion of the Mudgee Cemetery, the Rev. Father Cafe officiated. The arrangements were in the hands of Messrs. J. C. Swords and Son. THE LATE MRS CATHERINE WOOD. THE late Mrs. Catherine Wood, notice of whose death we published last Monday, was born at Wilbetree Flat, 63 years ago, and had lived in the district ever since. She was a splendid wife and mother, and her family are held In high esteem in this district, a sorrowing husband, five daughters and two sons are left to mourn. They are: Nurse Norah Wright, of Mudgee, Mrs. Stanley J. Ransome (Grace), of Five Dock, the Misses Stella, Doris and Clarice, and Arthur and Jack (Mudgee); one ber and two sisters also survive. Mainly About People Mudgee District Personalities The death occurred in the Mudgee District Hospital yesterday of Mr. Arthur Samuel Wood, aged 87 years. Deceased,who was born at Limestone, came of a fine pioneer family, and was widely and favourably known right throughout the district, where he resided for a lifetime. His wife predeceased him, but he is survived by the following family: Grace Ellen, Norah Mary, Stella Maude, Doris Amelia, Clarice, Arthur Edward and Jack. To the sorrowing ones sincere sympathy is extended. The funeral will take place from the Methodist Church at 11 o’clock tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, Messrs.
