The death occurred at the residence of his son, Mr. Alfred Honeysett, on Tuesday, of Mr. Thomas Honeysett, a very old and respected resident of Mudgee district, aged 85. The deceased had been ailing for some time, and passed peacefully away on Tuesday. The late Mr. Thomas Honeysett was a pioneer of this country. He was born at Sussex (England), and came to this country by the "Lady Raffle" in the year 1837, and was only four years of age when he arrived in Australia. During Mr. Honeysett's long residence in this country, he had lived at Appletree Flat, Gulgong, and other parts of the Mudgee district, where he carried on miming pursuits The deceased was a fine old gentleman, and was respected by all. He had been three times married. His wife and the following family are left: - Thomas (Tallawang), George (Sydney), Fred (Mudgee), Sidney and Alfred (Appletree Flat), William (Sydney) Private Harold (England, A.I.F.) and Alma. The remains were interred in the Church of England portion of the Appletree Flat cemetery yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, the Rev L. M. Dunstan officiating at the graveside. Mr. H. Death of a mother | Emma Jane Shields 2 April 1926 (aged 28 years) LATE MRS HONEYSETT. The late Mrs. Emma Jane Honeysett, wife of Mr. Alf. Honeysett. was a member of the well-known Shields family, of Appletree Flat, and was universally esteemed. She had not enjoyed good health for some time prior to her death. In addition to a sorrowing husband she is survived by the following sons and daughters, all of whom reside in the district: - Vivian, Claude, Percy, Elva, Lily, Alice, and Amy.
