DEATHS Mr. E. C. A. Marks THE death occurred in a Mudgee private hospital yesterday of Mr. Ernest Charles Augustus Marks, aged 66, a very old resident of the Mudgee district. The late Mr. Marks, who was very well known amongst district pastoralists, was the manager of Bobadeen station, Cassilis. He had previously managed properties at Cooyal and Forbes for the late Mr. G. Raffan, and his ability in matters related to primary production was very great and widely known. His death occurred as the result of a sudden seizure. A wife and a grown-up family, all of whom reside at Bobadeen station, survive. The funeral - a Masonic one - takes place this afternoon to the Church of England portion of the Mudgee cemetery, after a service at St. John's Church, conducted by Canon Kemmis. Arrangements are in the hands of Messrs J. C. Swords and Son. Mudgee Guardian, Monday 6 August 1934, p. 4. Obituary Ernest Marks

DEATHS MR. E. C. Marks, manager of Bobadeen station, passed away last weekend, and his remains were laid to rest in the Mudgee cemetery. Whilst not closely associated with Cassilis public life, on account of the distance from town and his various interests in Mudgee, he was well known to most of the residents, and those who were privileged with his acquaintance feel that the world is the poorer at his passing. A quiet, modest gentleman, he won the esteem of all who came in contact with him. We extend our deepest sympathy to his bereaved family in their great loss.
