Distinction has come to Lue Public School through the winning of the Angus and Robertson gold medal by Inez Vera Young, daughter of S. C. Young, the popular teacher of the school mentioned. The medal is awarded annually for the test book of pen and ink printing, and little Miss Young's success is all the more creditable, as she is only just over 14, and had to compete with boys and girls up to 16 years.
