Note: VERY SAD DEATH.

VERY SAD DEATH. The death occurred in Mudgee on Tuesday afternoon of Beatrice Skinner, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Skinner, of Stoney Pinch. The cause of death was heart disease, following an attack of rheumatic fever from which deceased had suffered. When first called in, Dr. Hawthorne expressed but little hope of the recovery of his patient, who was staying in Mudgee on a visit to her aunt, Mrs. W. L. Nicholson. The deceased, who was 15 years and 8 months of age, was a bright and intelligent girl, and her parents have our deepest sympathy. Mr. Skinner is himself suffering from a very severe attack of influenza, and was unable to attend his child's funeral. His friends will soon hope to hear of his recovery.
