Church, Gulgong, on Wednesday, when James Ryan, son of Mrs. C. M. Ryan, of Goolma, and Florrie Shearman, daughter of Mrs. G. H. Diehm, of Goolma, were married by Rev. E. P. O'Donnell. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. J. Shearman, wore a becoming dress of white pailette silk and wreath and veil, and gold bangle, a present from the bridegroom. Miss Hilda Shearman, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a dress of pale pailette silk and white silk hat. She also wore a gold brooch the gift of the bridegroom. The brides present to the bride-groom was a set of gold sleeve links. Mr. F. S. Ryan was best man. Later Mr. and Mrs. Ryan left for Orange where the honeymoon is being spent.
