WEDDING. Honeysett - Stewart

St. Mark's Church, Goolma, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday last, when Miss Maud Stewart, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Stewart, of Goolma, was married to Mr. Les Honeysett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herb Honeysett, of Tallawang. The Rev. L. V. Caldwell, of Gulgong, officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore white satin cut on classical lines, with high neck and long sleeves. Her exquisitely embroidered veil, which was kindly loaned by Mrs. Tattersall (cousin of the bridegroom), was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a beautiful bouquet. She was attended by her sister, Miss Eva Stewart, who was attired in a frock of blue moracain and white hat. Mr. Val Honeysett (brother of the bridegroom) acted as best man. As the bride entered the church, the "Bridal March" was played by Mrs. Wal Shearman. The reception was held at the Goolma Hotel, where the usual toasts were proposed and honored. The presents were numerous and costly and included many cheques. Later the happy couple left by car for Bathurst, the bride's travelling frock being of blue moracain relieved with a white hat. Their future home will be at Tallawang. Mudgee Guardian, Thursday 22 August 1935, p. 13. Honeysett Stewart Wedding
