We regret to announce the death of Mr. Francis Skinner, a very old and respected resident of Mudgee, at the age of 79 years. The deceased had resided at Tunnabutta for many years, and leaves a grown-up family of five sons and five daughters, including Messrs. John Skinner (Stoney Creek), W. Skinner (Tunnabutta), and Mrs. S. Miller (Mudgee). The funeral cortege will leave deceased's residence, Mortimer-street West, at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow, for the general cemetery. Death of a paternal grandmother | Emma Barwick 1913 (aged 26 years) Local Brevities The funeral of Mrs. Emily Skinner took place on Friday afternoon last to the Methodist portion of the general cemetery, the cortege being a lengthy one. The Rev. G. Laverty performed the last sad rites at the graveside, while Mr. J. C. Swords had charge of the funeral arrangements. Deceased was a native of Kurrajong Heights, near Richmond, and was nearly in her 73rd year. She had been over 50 years married, and her husband pre-deceased her by a little over four years. The late Mrs. Skinner was the mother of a large family - seven sons and two daughters - as follows: - Mr. F. Skinner, Scone; Mr. W. L. Skinner, Tunnabutta; Mr. J. S. Skinner, Stony Pinch: Mr. G. Death of a father | Francis Reason Skinner 25 July 1936 (aged 49 years) OBITUARY. F. R. SKINNER. The death took place on July 25, of Mr. F. R. Skinner, 79, of Narrabri, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. C. Wrigley, Kensington, Sydney, after a long and painful illness. He had been a resident of Narrabri for over 20 years coming from the Dubbo district where he followed farming pursuits. He was a native of Richmond and his father, the late Mr. F. Skinner, was one of the pioneers of the Mudgee district. He leaves a wife, one son and five daughters, Mr. Stan Skinner (Narrabri), Mrs. J. Mcintosh (Sydney), Mrs. C. Wrigley (Sydney), Mrs. G. Francis (Sydney), Mrs. L. Drury (Sydney) and Mrs. S. Bayliss (Wollongong). His remains were interred in the Methodist portion of the Field of Mars Cemetery, Ryde, Sydney, the funeral service being conducted by the Rev. J. Newman, and Rev. Bradshaw, late of Narrabri.
