Death | 16 August 1923 (aged 26 years) Kandos News DEATH ON EVE OF MARRIAGE. Miss Inez Kersley, the only daughter of Sergeant E. P. Kersley, in charge of Albury Police Station, died on Thursday, 16th August, in distressing circumstances. All the arrangements had been made for her wedding on Saturday to Mr. Tapscott, a well-known Wagga resident, and on the previous Saturday she was entertained by a large number of friends at a "kitchen" tea to mark the event. She was 26 years of age, and was very popular in Albury. Sergeant Kersley is the eldest son of Mr. Robert Kersley, who was for many years, school-teacher at Coomber, now Kandos.
