Marriage | Fred Cornish — View this family April 1916 District News A pretty wedding took place in St. Andrew's C.E., Coolah, last week, when the marriage of Mr. Fred Cornish, fourth son of the late Mr. James Cornish, of Cassilis, and Miss Adelaide Isabel Roberts, of Sydney, took place, the Rev. Hotston officiating. Miss Cornish, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. and Mr. Walter Cornish (brother) best man. The bride, who was tastefully attired in white, was given away by Mr. W. Collinson, Cassilis. After the ceremony the party adjourned to Mr. J. C. Casey's where the usual toasts were honored. The happy couple then left for Sydney where the honeymoon will be spent. She wanted him to give everything up and go to the city with her, but he told her he did not understand the cities and was happier in the country. The husband, Frederick Cornish, Coolah grazier, told this story to Mr. Justice Sir Percival Halse Rogers in the Sydney Divorce Court last Thursday when he obtained a decree nisi on the ground of desertion.
