DEATHS Mr. Percy Alfred Cox M.B.E. The death occurred on Saturday of one of Mudgee’s most respected citizens, Mr. Percy Alfred Cox. Mr. Cox, aged 76, had the distinction of being an M.B.E. During his life he was for some years, President of the Board of Directors, at Mudgee Municipal Council. He was employed at Kellett’s for 34 years where he was manager of the timber yards. His funeral left St. John’s Church of England after a service at 11 a.m. today for interment in the Mudgee Cemetery. A special Masonic service was held for him at the Masonic Temple at 10.30 and an R.S.L. service was held at the graveside. Mr. Cox is survived by his wife Ellen, daughter Bessie (Mrs. Hart), and sons Ron and Trevor. In the Supreme Court of New South Wales Probate Jurisdiction. In the Will of Percy Alfred Cox late of Mudgee in the State of New South Wales, Retired Store Hand, deceased. Application will be made after fourteen days from the publication hereof, that probate of the last Will and Testament dated 20th July, 1932 of the abovenamed deceased may be granted to Ellen Maud Cox, the Executrix named in the said Will and all notices may be served at the undermentioned address. All Creditors in the Estate of the deceased are hereby required to send in particulars of their claims to the undersigned, Spring, Hill Hannaford & Craig, Solicitors, 79 Market Street, Mudgee.
