| Death | 10 February 1968 (aged 77 years) DEATHS Mr. Percy Alfred Cox M.B.E. The death occurred on Saturday of one of Mudgee’s most respected citizens, Mr. Percy Alfred Cox. Mr. Cox, aged 76, had the distinction of being an M.B.E. During his life he was for some years, President of the Board of Directors, at Mudgee Municipal Council. He was employed at Kellett’s for 34 years where he was manager of the timber yards. His funeral left St. John’s Church of England after a service at 11 a.m. today for interment in the Mudgee Cemetery. A special Masonic service was held for him at the Masonic Temple at 10.30 and an R.S.L. service was held at the graveside. Mr. Cox is survived by his wife Ellen, daughter Bessie (Mrs. Hart), and sons Ron and Trevor.
