Death Notice: BEVAN ROY POTTS Residents of Kandos were very sad last Friday when they heard that Bevan Roy Potts, eldeat son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Potts, of Kandos, had passed away in Rylstone District Hospital at the tender age of 14 years. He would have turned 15 on Monday last. He was a very brave boy and kindness predominated in his character, which was outstanding while in hospital. He had his leg amputated about two years ago with the hope that it would save him. To his sorrowing mother, father, two bers and one sister, deepest sympathy is extended. After a service at 11.30am last Saturday, members of Kandos Boy Scout Troop formed a guard of honour from the Kandos Church of England, the funeral proceeding to Rylstone Cemetery. Deaths Roy Potts Pensioner, Mr. Roy Potts of 9 George Street, Kandos, died at the Rylstone District Hospital on April 1. A funeral service will take place at St. Lawrence’s, Church of England, Kandos at 11 a.m. on Thursday April 5. Mr. Potts will be buried in the Rylstone Ceremony.
