She was a member of the fine old Walsh family, of Havilah and resided at Buckaroo for practically a lifetime where she was held in the highest regard by all sections of the community. Her husband predeceased her about twenty years, and she is survived by the following sons and daughters: Frank (Buckaroo) and John (headmaster of the Queanbeyan school), Mrs. W. Morgan (Lismore) and Mrs. A. Heaslip (Ulan). The brothers are Frank (Mudgee), William (Buckaroo), Alfred (Quaker's Hill) and Leslie (Lithgow). There are also nine grandchildren. To all of the sorrowing ones sincere sympathy is extended. The funeral was attended by many old friends of the family, and the large collection of floral tributes was evidence of the love in which she was held.
