Married in Gulgong.

WALSH - DUGGAN. A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Johns R.C., Gulgong, on December 19, the contracting parties being Nellie, second daughter of Mr. Michael Duggan, Turill, Cassilis, and Herbert George, third son of Mr. J. Walsh, "The Bungalow, " Havilah. The bride entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. J. Duggan, and wore a gown of ivory white satin charmeuse, veiled in silk net, embroidered in silver and pearls, and finished with crystal trimmings, the corsage having sequin and bugle trimmings and true lovers' knots braided in silver. Her long court train was caught up at the shoulders with silver cord and tassels, and finished at the end with a large true lovers' knot, worked with silver and pearls. Her embroidered tulle veil was worn over a wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of white carnations, lilies and asparagus fern, which, with a two-heart diamond ring, were the gifts of the bridegroom. She was attended by two bridesmaids - Misses Jessie and Annie Duggan (sisters of the bride). The former wore a dress of white glare silk, trimmed with braid and silk applique, the double skirt being finished with a deep silk fringe, and wore a hat of white silk straw, with clusters of pink roses and touches of black velvet. The latter was dressed in white silk ninon, trimmed with silk insertion, the skirt having a deep band of silk. The white tagel hat had pink roses and lace trimmings. Each carried a bouquet of pink carnations and maidenhair fern, and wore a dia-mond and sapphire bracelet, the gifts of the bridegroom. Mr. Frank Walsh was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at Mr. J. N. Spears', where the usual toasts were given and honored. The happy couple left by the evening train for the Mountains, the bride travelling in a dress of biscuit colored silk-striped ninon., trimmed with silk applique and fringe, with toque to match. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a silver shaving outfit. Mr. and Mrs. Walsh were the recipients of a large number of presents, including many cheques.
