William Abram Moss The death took place last week of a well known and highly respected citizen, in the person of William Abram Moss, of 'Bluestone,' Rylstone. The deceased, who was 67 years of age, suffered a heart attack and passed away soon after his admittance to the district hospital. The late Bill Moss was a keen cricketer and was in his glory behind the wickets. He was a grand sportsman in victory or defeat. The esteem in which this fine gentleman was held was evidenced by the large attendant of mourners who attended to pay their last respects. After a service in the Church of England, Rylstone, conducted by Archdeacon Bromhead, the remains were interred in the Rylstone General Cemetery. To the sorrowing widow and family extend our deepest sympathy (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative , Thursday 28 February 1946, page 8).
