General regret was expressed at the death of Mr William McAndrew, which took place at Restwell Road, Bossley Park. The late Mr McAndrew was born at Richmond (N.S.W.) and was educated at Wallerawang, where he spent his boyhood days. He was married at Emu Plains in 1876 to Miss Ann Innes, by the late Rev. Old friends will remember him carrying on with the old bullock team from Wallerawang to New England and the western districts forty years ago. Mr McAndrew finally settled at Glen Alice, when settlers were few and far apart. It was only last year that Mr and Mrs McAndrew celebrated their golden wedding. Mr McAndrew went from Glen Alice about four years ago to Bossley Park. The late Mr McAndrew leaves a widow, one daughter and four sons; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
