Attacked by Bull | 21 January 1876 (aged 54 years) RYLSTONE. January 25. Accident. - On the 21st instant, a man of the name of Abraham Moss met with a severe accident while engaged yarding cattle. Moss, who is in the employment of R W. Cox, Esq., of Rawdon, and had charge of his cattle at Pinnac1e Swamp, was yarding a heifer in the same yard with a bull which had been previously known to be ferocious, when the bull made a sudden attack upon him, dislocating his hip, and one of the horns penetrating completely through one of the man's thighs. He is now, however, progressing favourably (Evening News, Saturday 29 January 1876, page 5). |
