Death | 28 September 1949 OBITUARY MRS. A. v. JEFFERY Coming to Lismore only two weeks ago to spend an extended holiday with her daughter, Mrs. R. A. Stacey, of Ewing Street, Lismore, Mrs. Annie Victoria Jeffery, 83, died in Lismore yesterday morning. Mrs. Jeffery was the widow of the late Mr. S. E. Jeffery, who died 13 years ago. He was a member of the Eduation Department. In addition to Mrs. Stacey, another daughter, Mrs. H. E. McQuiggin, of "Craigmore," Rylstone, also survives. Mrs. Jeffery's remains will leave Lismore by rail this morning for cremation in Sydney (Northern Star, Thursday 29 September 1949, page 4). |
