Death of a husband | Charles Lloyd 12 September 1932 (aged 56 years) OLD HAND PASSES AN old grazier of the Coonamble district, Mr Charles Lloyd, died at the Coonamble public hospital on Saturday following a seizure while mustering sheep on Monday. Mr Lloyd, who was 62 years of age, was deputy-president of the Wingadee Shire. A well-known figure through-out the West, Mr Lloyd went to Coonamble about forty years ago. He was a champion hand shearer, and held many records (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Thursday 15 September 1932, page 4). DEATH OF AN OLD KANDOS IDENTITY Word was received in Kandos on Saturday of the death of Mr. Charles Lloyd, a ber of Messrs. Tom and John Lloyd. The death took place at Coonamble (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Monday 12 September 1932, page 8). |
