Mr. Arthur Henry Cafe AT the age of 61, Mr. Arthur Henry Cafe, of Mudgee, died in the Mudgee District Hospital this morning. A member of a well-known Ilford family, the late Mr. Cafe was employed by the Railways Department and was well known and highly esteemed in both the Mudgee and Ilford districts. He is survived by a wife and family. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning in the Church of England Cemetery at Ilford, and arrangements will be in the hands of Messrs. J. C. Swords and Son (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Monday 10 February 1936, page 7).

PERSONAL A number of Kandos residents have suffered bereavements of late. Included in the number are Mr. Stanley Copelin and Mr. Percy Cafe. Mr. Copelin's father died recently at the age of 72, and Mr. Cafe's mother, Mrs. Rebecca Cafe, passed away at her Ilford home in her 84th year (Lithgow Mercury, Thursday 30 March 1939, page 4).
