Death of a wife | Edith Maude Amelia McDonald 1963 (aged 75 years) Obituary: Mrs Edith Freestone The death occurred suddenly on August 8, in hospital, of Mrs Edith Maude Amelia Freestone, of 39 Bradley Street, Randwick. The late Mrs Freestone was, in her young days, very well known in Rylstone, where she lived with her parents, Mr and Mrs Jim McDonald, Mudgee Street. Those left to mourn her passing and to whom deepest sympathy is extended are her husband Ted, and children, Myrtle and Teddy, daughter-in-law Betty and their children. The following bers and sisters also survive: James (Newcastle), Gertrude (Mrs Urquhart), Hubert (Corrimal), Valerie (Mrs C Honetsett, Cullen Bullen), Sylvia (Mrs Hilton), Eugene (Mrs Nicol), Donald, Dawn (Mrs McKenzie) and Malcolm. One ber David predeceased her. The funeral service was on Monday at The Funeral House, 39 North Parade, Campsie, and later at the Church of England portion of the Woronora Cemetery.
