Death of a paternal grandmother | Rebecca Besant 17 March 1939 PERSONAL A number of Kandos residents have suffered bereavements of late. Included in the number are Mr. Stanley Copelin and Mr. Percy Cafe. Mr. Copelin's father died recently at the age of 72, and Mr. Cafe's mother, Mrs. Rebecca Cafe, passed away at her Ilford home in her 84th year (Lithgow Mercury, Thursday 30 March 1939, page 4).
