Death of a husband | Edmund Henry Robbins 19 June 1969 (aged 71 years) Obituary Edmond Henry Robbins The death occurred on June 19 at the Repatriation Hospital, Concord, of Kandos resident Edmond Henry Robbins. He lived in Kandos for many years and had been in ill health for some time. He is survived by his wife, Lillian, daughters Jean, Phyllis, Daphne, Lorna and one son, Eric. Edmond Henry Robbins Obituary DEATH Mr. E. H. Robbins With the passing of Mr. Edmund (Ned) Henry Robbins, Kandos has lost another of its World War I veterans. Mr. Robbins passed away in Concord Repatriation Hospital on Thursday, June 17, aged 80 years, after a long illness. A service was held in the Chapel of the Metropolitan Funeral Home Burwood at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 23. The cortege left for the Northern Suburbs Crematorium. Mr. Robbins is survived by his wife Lil, daughters Jean (Mrs. Pusell, Kandos), Phyllis (Mrs. Roy Rayner, Mudgee), Daphne (Mrs. Sam Small, Belrose), Lorna (Mrs. Perce Chapman, Mudgee) and son Eric (Punchbowl). The late Mrs. Robbins came to Australia from England as a war bride and settled in Kandos with her husband. She celebrated her Golden Wedding Anniversary in February 1969. Her husband predeceased her six months ago and she is survived by four daughters and one son - Jean (Mrs. Pusell, Kandos), Phyllis (Mrs. Rayner, Mudgee), Daphne (Mrs. Small, French's Forest), Lorna (Mrs. Chapman, Mudge), and Eric, Punchbowl. Eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive her. Following a service in the Burwood funeral parlour cremation took place at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium.
