DEATH MRS. W. FARRAR The death of Mrs. W. Farrar, senr. occurred at Rylstone recently. This grand old lady was 85 years of age, and lived in the Rylstone district nearly all her life and her husband predeceased her 11 years ago. Mrs. Farrar had not enjoyed good health for some time, a stroke being the cause of death. The late Messrs. Jake and W. Jackson, Mudgee, were bers. She had a cheerful kindly disposition and was liked by all who knew her. A large family and a number of grand children and great grand children are left to mourn her loss. The late Mr. and Mrs. Farrar lived a great many years at Brymair and were pioneers of the good old type. The deceased lady will be greatly missed by her family for whom the deepest sympathy is expressed. The funeral was largely attended and the grandsons of the deceased acted as pallbearers. The Rev. W. DEATH. MRS D. RICHES. The death occurred at her late residence, Mudgee street, Rylstone, In the early hours of Wednesday morning, October 31, of the late Mrs. D. Riches, a very highly esteemed and respected resident of the Rylstone district. The deceased lady was 78 years of age and spent the greater part of her life in the Rylstone and Mudgee districts. Endowed as she was with a beautiful disposition, the late Mrs. Riches had a large circle of friends, and her life was full of usefulness. She was a true and kind neighbor and a loving mother. She is survived by a large family, six sons and five daughters. David, Lue; Robert, Camboon; William, Rylstone; Jack, Campsie: Albert, Mogo; Herbert, Wallerawang; Mrs. A. McDonald, Mrs. A. Halpln, Mrs. E. Farrar, Mrs. J. Black, and Mrs. O. Wyldes, all of Rylstone. The funeral was conducted the following day, the remains being taken to the Church of England, where a short service was held, and then to the Rylstone General Cemetery, and laid to rest. The Rev. R. Douglas officiated at the graveside, Mr. J. B. Simpkins, of Kandos, conducted the funeral arrangements. To the bereaved relatives the deepest sympathy is extended.
