DEATH Betty Robinson Diphtheria claimed its first victim this year when Betty Veronica, the bright little nine-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Robinson, of Buckaroo, passed away in the Mudgee Hospital on Monday evening last. Three other members of the family are in the institution suffering from the same dread malady. Betty, a lovable child, was a general favorite with the good folk of the locality in which she lived, and her early and lamentable death will be mourned by everyone in the community. To the bereaved parents universal sympathy will be extended. The funeral took place to Catholic portion of the Mudgee Cemetery on Tuesday, the last sad rites being performed by the Rev. Father Cass. Messrs. J. C. Swords and Son conducted the arrangements (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Thursday 18 March 1943, page 9).

Obituary Reginald Herbert Robinson Mr. Reginald Herbert Robinson, 68, late of Lue and formerly of Mudgee, died at Lue on June 2. He is survived by his wife Ivy and family, Carmel, June, Peter, Pat, Marie, Paul, An, Beryl and John. his funeral took place on June 4 in the Mudgee Cemetery after Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Catholic Church.
