SAD DEATH. MRS. HERB. JACKSON. Word was received in Rylstone on Thursday evening of the death| of Mrs. Herb. Jackson, in St. Patrick's Hospital, Auburn. The deceased had recently undergone a serious operation, but was thought to be improving, and her husband and relatives has hopes of her leaving the hospital shortly. The death of one so popular will be felt by all. A prominent church worker, and member of the Country Women's Association, her place will be hard to fill. In any functions of a charitable nature the deceased woman was always to the forefront in helping. To the bereaved husband and relatives we extend our deepest sympathy. The remains were interred in the R.C. portion of Rookwood cemetery on Friday, July 29 (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Monday 1 August 1932, page 6).
