WEDDING BELLS. EDMONDS - WALKER. A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. James' Church, King-street, Sydney, on Wednesday, May 6th, the Rev. Carr-Smith officiating. The contracting parties being Mr. E. A. Saunderson-Edmonds, son of Mr. W. Edmonds, Petersham, and Miss Lily May Walker, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Henry Walker, of Tong Bong, Rylstone. The bride entered the church on the arm of her bRother-in-law, Mr. T. Stephens, who sub-equently gave her away, and had for her bridesmaids Miss Walker (sister) and Miss Weston also little Miss Kathleen Weston and Master A. McDiamond, who acted as train bearers, the groomsman being Mr. H. Walker (Glebe.) The bridal party as they stood at the altar made a very charming group, the bride looking handsome in a gown of white Brussels net, embroidered all over with silver, and draped with a raised design of silver roses, the bodice having a vest of interlaced silver cord and revers finished with ball fringe and silver tassels. The costume was mounted on a princess robe of ivory satin. The court train of brocaded satin was lined throughout with silver tissue, and trimmed with numerous frills of accordian pleated chiffon, with panels of silver embroidery, finished with cluster of orange blossoms. An embroidered tulle veil and a coronet of orange blossoms finished this charm-ing toilette, the boquet of white carnations and diamond ring were the bridegroom's gifts. The bridesmaid, Miss Walker, wore a costume of cream messelaine silk over glace, the bodice having a yoke of honiton lace and bertha of chiffon aplique, edged with ball fringe and finished with gold cord tassels. Miss Wesbon's frock of cream sechilienne over glace was worn with a blouse of fillett lace, trimmed with silk embroidery and finished with gold cord tassels. Both wore picture hats of white felt, trimmed with glace silk and ostrich plumes, and carried shower bouquets of pink carnations, and wore pearl and ruby star pendants, gifts of the bridegroom. Little Miss Kathleen Weston's frock of cream velvet was trimmed with point lace, and worn with a bonnet of lace, trimmed with large ostrich plumes she carried a basket of roses and wore a ruby and pearl pendant, gifts of the bridegroom. Master A. McDiamond wore a suit of white satin, a large felt hat with ostrich plume, and wore a gold medal, gift of the bridegroom. The service was fully choral. As the bridal party left the altar Miss Ruby McDonald sang, ''Beloved, it is morn.'' A reception was held at the A. B.C. Cafe, Pitt-street, about 90 guests being present, when a very pleasant afternoon was spent. Mr. and Mrs. Saunderson-Edmonds left amid showers of confetti per ex-press for Melbourne, thence to Adelaide and Hobart, where the honey-moon is being spent, the bride travelling in a coat and skirt of cream cloth, hat of rose silk trimmed with velvet and large white ostrich plume ; a set of English fox furs com-pleted the costume. DEATH MR. WILLIAM WALKER The death occurred at his home, Mudgee road, near Gulgong on Monday morning last, of Mr. William Walker, aged 85 years. Deceased, who was a native of Rylstone, is survived by his wife and the following family: Miss Edna Harriet Walker (Gulgong), Mrs. E. (Una May) Doorey (Singleton) and Mr. Norman Walker (Gulgong). The funeral was arranged to take place to the Presbyterian portion of the Gulgong cemetery yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon. Our sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones.
