CAPERTEE (From our own correspondent.) Mr. Charles Corlis, an old and esteemed resident of Ben Bullen district, passed away on Saturday night at the age of 57 years, death being due to a short but acute attack of pneumonia. Deceased, who was widely known and highly respected, was the oldest son of the late Michael Corlis. He is survived by a widow and adopted daughter, three bers, Messrs Michael William and Edward Corlis, and three sisters, Mesdames J. O'Farroll, L. O'Brien, and J. McDonald (Lithgow). The funeral took place on Monday afternoon, and was largely attended. The remains were interred in the Capertee cemetery, the last sad rites being performed by Mr. Curran, of Ben Bullen.
