VETERAN PASSES

LATE MR "TED" PERRAM Formerly of Cudgegong MUDGEE district residents, especially those of the older generation, will regret to hear of the recent death in Sydney of Mr. Edwin ("Ted") Perram, father of Mr. W. H. Perram, of Mudgee, at the age of 83 years. The late Mr. Perram was a very well known resident of Cudgegong before the '90's, when he left for Coonamble. He was employed at Coonamble as a blacksmith for some time, but later became a partner in the firm of coachbuilders and wheelwrights known throughout the west as Perram and Firth's. Disposing of the business a few years ago, both the deceased and his former partner (Mr. Firth) left Coonamble and took up residence in Sydney.
