Proctor, of Mudgee South, received word some days ago from the Base Records Office, as follows: - "Your son, William Thomas McGowan, died from wounds on 27th June." Deceased was 27 years of age and was married to a Miss Brown just prior to enlisting. There were no children. The deceased's father's name was Bernard McGowan.
