DEATH

Mrs. Clara M. Rayner

THE death of Mrs. Clara M. Rayner, aged 72, wife of Mr. H. Rayner, of Mt. Jack, Mebul, cast a gloom over that part of the Gulgong district. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Cox of Mudgee, and had a large circle of relatives and sincere friends, all of whom were deeply grieved at her passing. Besides a sorrowing husband, she is survived by one son, Robert, of Mebul, and three daughters, Mrs. Erwin Rayner (Yamble) and the Misses Mary (Molly) and Charlotte Rayner, of Mebul. The funeral took place from St. John's Church of England, Mudgee, to the Church of England portion of the Mudgee Cemetery, the Rev. A. G. Powell officiating. Our sympathy is extended.
