| Death of a wife | Clara May Cox 7 September 1941 DEATH Mrs. Clara M. Rayner THE death of Mrs. Clara M. Rayner, aged 72, wife of Mr. H. Rayner, of Mt. Jack, Mebul, cast a gloom over that part of the Gulgong district. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Cox of Mudgee, and had a large circle of relatives and sincere friends, all of whom were deeply grieved at her passing. Besides a sorrowing husband, she is survived by one son, Robert, of Mebul, and three daughters, Mrs. Erwin Rayner (Yamble) and the Misses Mary (Molly) and Charlotte Rayner, of Mebul. The funeral took place from St. John's Church of England, Mudgee, to the Church of England portion of the Mudgee Cemetery, the Rev. A. G. Powell officiating. Our sympathy is extended. | Burial of a wife | Clara May Cox 8 September 1941 Mrs. H. Rayner Mrs. Clara May Rayner, wife of Mr. Henry Rayner, of Mount Jack, Mebul, passed away at her residence on Sunday morning. She was 72 years of age. The grand old lady was well known in Mudgee and district. She was formerly a Miss Cox. To the sorrowing husband, three daughters and one son our deepest sympathy is extended. The body was brought to Mudgee yesterday and the funeral took place this morning to the Church of England portion of the Mudgee cemetery, the Rev. Powell officiating at the church and grave. | Probate | 27 February 1947 (0 after death) Probate RE will of HENRY RAYNER, late of Mebul, in the State of New South Wales, grazier, deceased. - Probate granted by Supreme Court of New South Wales on 27th February, 1947. - Pursuant to the Wills, Probate and Administration Act, 1898 1940 (Testator's Family Maintenance and Guardianship of Infants Act, 1916-1938, and Trustee Act, 1925-1940), James Robert Henry Rayner, Charlotte Rayner and Mary Rayner, the executors of the will of the said Henry Rayner, who died on 1st November, 1946, hereby give notice that creditors and others having any claim against or to the estate of the said deceased are required to send particulars of their claims to the said executors, care of J. J. Dowd & Son, Solicitors, Gulgong, on or before the 7th January, 1948, at the expiration of which time the said executors will distribute the assets of the said deceased to the persons entitled, having regard only to the claims of which they then have notice. - Dated 22nd October, 1947.
