Mrs. Hunt's Death. In reporting on Monday the death of Mrs. Mary Ann Hunt, of Mudgee, the name of one of the daughters left was given as Mrs. F. Healy (of Spring Ridge). It should have read Mrs. P. Haley, sen. The names of the two following daughters were inadvertently omitted:- Mrs. James Pitt, Cudgegong; Mrs. Frank Riley, Mudgee (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Thursday 16 August 1917, page 16).

Obituary

George Henry Thompson

The death of a retired grazier, Mr. George Henry Thompson, occurred in the Mudgee District Hospital, last Sunday. Mr. Thompson, 81, was late of Court Street, Mudgee. The interment took place yesterday in the Mudgee cemetery, after a service in the Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Mr. Thompson is survived by a wife, daughter, two grand-daughters and four sisters. Arrangements were made by Macquarie Valley Funerals of Mudgee, Gulgong, Kandos, Rylstone and Dunedoo.

Mr. George Henry Thompson

The death occurred at Mudgee District Hospital on Sunday, August 4, of Mr. George Henry Thompson, 81, late of 30 Court Street, Mudgee. Mr. Thompson was buried from the Methodist Church, Mudgee, after a funeral service on August 6. He is survived by his wife, Edith, daughter Dorothy, two granddaughters, Kathryn and Paulene, and sisters Amy, Christine, Gladys and Myrah. Mr. Thompson was a retired grazier. Macquarie Valley Funerals, funeral directors of Mudgee, Rylstone, Kandos, Dunedoo and Gulgong, had charge of arrangements.
