Death of a mother | Margaret Ann Freeburn 10 July 1929 (aged 17 years) Obituary MRS ATCHESON. Mrs Atcheson, wife of Mr W. Atcheson, of Wilpinjong, Wollar, and formerly of the Rylstone district, died in the Mudgee Hospital on Wednesday morning, aged 49 years. De-ceased, who had been ailing for some time, was very highly esteemed, and her death came as a great shock to very many throughout this district. She is survived by a sorrowing husband, two sons, and three daughters, the youngest being eleven years of age. The funeral took place to the Church of England portion of the Mudgee cemetery on Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. L. Walker officiating at the graveside. Mr J. C. Swords conducted the arrangements. Death of a sister | Joan Milba Atcheson June 1989 (aged 77 years) Obituary: Mrs Joan Papworth The funeral took place in the Ulan Cemetery following a service in St Cuthbert's Anglican Church, Ulan at 2pm on June 7 of Mrs Joan Papworth, 78. She was a former resident of Wilpinjong and Murragamba/Ulan areas and in more recent times of Gulgong and Buckaroo, where she stayed with her son Stewart, his wife and family and her sister, Mrs Grace Rogan. Mrs Papworth was the former Joan Atcherson of Wilpinjong and had married the late Mr Herb Papworth of Murragamba, Ulan at one time. Mr Papworth was the teacher at the Murragamba area. Mrs Papworth is survived by her only child, Stewart his wife and children of Gulgong, sister, Mrs G Rogan of Buckaroo and other relatives.
