DEATH

Mr. R. H. Endacott

The death occurred in the Mudgee Hospital at an early hour this morning of Mr. Richard Henry Endacott, a member of a very old and respected Yarrabin family. His wife predeceased him by about two years, while a brother (George) died six weeks ago. For very many years deceased had followed farming pursuits at Spring Flat, in which locality he was held in the highest esteem. He is survived by six sons and two daughters, among the former being James, Arthur and Henry, who reside in the Spring Flat area. Mr. W. Endacott, of Mudgee, is the only surviving brother. To the sorrowing ones, the sympathy of the whole community will be extended. The funeral will take place at 3 o'clock tomorrow (Friday) afternoon, the arrangements being in the hands of Mr. H. Barton.

Mr. R. H. Endacott

A highly esteemed resident of Spring Flat, in the person of Mr. Richard Henry Endacott, died on Friday last, aged 57 years. He had been ailing for some time and recently underwent specialist treatment in Sydney. For practically a lifetime he resided in the district and made a wide circle of firm friends, who learned of his passing with deep regret. He is survived by a sorrowing widow, and one son, and they will have the deepest sympathy of the whole community. The funeral, which was well attended, took place to the Church of England portion of the general cemetery on Saturday afternoon last, the Rev. Canon Powell officiating. Members of the Protestant Alliance Lodge, of which order deceased had been a valued brother, marched in the sad procession and also acted as pallbearers. The arrangements were conducted by Mr. H.
