The bride looked charming in a white frock beautifully beaded, and a shoulder length tulle veil surmounted by a coronet of shasta daisies. She carried a bouquet of camelias, hyacinths and double stocks. The duties of bridesmaid were performed by the bridegroom's sister, Mona, dressed in blue crepe. She carried a bouquet of camelias, sweet peas and stocks The bridegroom was attended by Len Walsh, brother of the bride. The wedding reception was held in the C.W.A. Rooms, Mudgee, where the bride's mother, dressed in a navy costume with blue accessories and a shoulder spray of sweet peas, assisted by the bridegroom's mother, dressed in a grey costume with navy accessories and a shoulder spray of jonquils, received 25 guests. A very nice two-decker wedding cake, which had been made by the bride's mother, reposed on the table. The young couple left by train to spend their honeymoon at Cronulla.
