CONNOR - DOWELL. The Methodist Church at Wilbetree, was packed on New Year's afternoon, to witness the marriage of Mr. R. J. Connor, of Mudgee, and Miss Mary Dowell, daughter of Mr. J. Dowell, of Wilbetree. The bride was attended by the Misses Dowell, and Mr. George Dowell was best man. After the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. J. H. Lewin, a wedding breakfast was partaken of at the residence of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Connor left by the mail train for Katoomba. Mudgee Guardian, Thursday 2 January 1902, p. 2.
