DEATH The death took place in the District Hospital early yesterday (Wednesday) morning of O. ('Boy') Bowles. The deceased, who had been ailing for a considerable time, was a very well known and respected resident of this district, and his passing, although not unexpected, came as a great shock to his large circle of friends. The funeral took place to-day (Thursday) to the Rylstone General Cemetery. A fuller report will appear in our next issue (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Thursday 22 April 1943, page 10).

Devoted wife of Owen (dec), loved mother of Jessie (dec), mother-in-law of Reinhard (dec), mother of Doris, mother-in-law of Horace (dec), cherished grandmother of Monika and husband Paul, Marieanne and husband Manfred, Margaret and Narelle, great grandmother of her 10 great grandchildren and sister Ethel.
