Deaths. MR. GEORGE DREW. The death occurred in the Mudgee District Hospital on Saturday of Mr. George Drew, a farmer, of "Mascotte," Binnaway, aged 36. The cause of death was Bright's disease. The deceased who was highly respected and esteemed in the Binnaway and adjoining districts, came to Mudgee for medical attention a couple of weeks ago, and entered the Mudgee District Hospital last week. His illness was not at first considered very serious, but complications developed that led to a fatal issue. The remains were taken to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church yesterday (Sunday), where the first portion of the funeral service was held, and afterwards the body was taken to the Catholic portion of the general cemetery. The Very Rev. Father Flanagan officiated in the church and in the graveside. Mr. J. C. Swords had charge of the funeral arrangements. The deceased, who was a simple man, is survived by his mother and father, who reside at Gunnedah, and the following bers and sisters :- Edward (Neilrex), John (Piambra Siding), William (Binnaway), Thomas (Gunnedah), Mrs. H. Obituary. JOHN DREW. One of the oldest residents of the district, Mr. John Drew, passed away at his late residence, Market Street, Mudgee, on Tuesday morning, aged 74 years. Deceased was born at Penrith and came to this district with his parents, bers and sisters, when he was 20 years of age. He has resided here ever since. He was married at Sofala to a young lady in that old mining township, Miss Ashcroft, and has reared a large and respectable family. Besides being survived by a widow, he leaves the following sons and daughters Edward, John, Piambra; William, Neilrex: Thomas, Olara, Queensland; Mrs. Moffitt, Neilrex; Mrs. Donnelly, Mrs. Firth, Newcastle; Maud, Mudgee. The late James Drew, of Mudgee, the late Thomas Drew, of Gilgandra, and Mr. G. Drew, of Wellington, were bers, and Mrs. C. Cafe, Brogan's Creek, and Mrs. R. Brown Yeoval, are sisters. Until about six weeks ago, deceased was in comparatively good health, but then became ill and quickly failed. He was buried yesterday afternoon in the Catholic portion of the Mudgee cemetery.
