WEDDINGS Noy - Whale A VERY pretty wedding which attracted considerable interest was that on Saturday last at St. Luke's Church of England of Miss Maud Elizabeth Whale, daughter of Mr. David Whale, of Medley street, and the late Mrs. Whale, and Mr. Sidney Noy, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Noy, of Three Mile road, Gulgong. The Rev. L. V. Caldwell officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in her dress of white moss crepe. She wore the customary wreath and veil, and carried a bouquet of dahlias, asters and asparagus fern. The bridesmaids, looking very sweet, were Misses Maizie Whale (sister of the bride), dressed in pink marionette georgette, with hat to tone, and Sadie Noy (sister of the bridegroom), dressed in pink moracain, with hat to tone. Both carried bouquets of pink asters. Mr. Henry Drew (cousin of the bridegroom) acted as best man, and Mr. W. Dunn was groomsman. The reception was held at the Oddfellows' hall, where the guests were received by Mrs. S. Noy (mother of the bridegroom). She was dressed in nut brown moracain. The Rev. Mr Caldwell presided. The following toasts were honored: Bride and bridegroom, by the chairman, responded to by the bridegroom; the bridesmaids, by the bridegroom, responded to by Mr. Henry Drew; the parents and grandparents of the bride and bridegroom, by Mr. G. M. Manusu, responded to by Mr. D. Whale; the ladies, by Mr. G. M. Manusu, responded to by Mrs. S. J. Cross; the chairman, by Mr H. Cross, responded to by the chairman.
