On Tuesday evening last., at St. Mary's, Mudgee, a pretty wedding was celebrated by the Right Rev. Monsignor O 'Donovan, the contracting parties being Mr. Jack Hill, eldest son of Mr. Thomas Hill, and Miss Pearl Hall, daughter of Alderman H. J. Hall. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of while fillet net over white satin, bodice trimmed with soutache braid and insertion; hat of white mervilleux trimmed with white eagle wings and tulle. She carried a bouquet of white roses and chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern, tied with streamers of white ribbon; and wore a gold bangle, gift of the bridegroom. Miss Valerie Hill, who was sole bridesmaid, wore a cream Cheviot serge coat and skirt and a very becoming white felt picture hat, and carried a bouquet of pink chrysanthemums and autumn leaves tied with pink streamers. She also wore a gold brooch, gift of the bridegroom. Mr. Bert Hill was best man. The bride's step-mother wore a wine-coloured cloth coat and skirt, and picture hat to match the costume. After the ceremony a number of friends assembled at Mimosa, the residence of the bridegroom's parents, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of, and the usual toasts honored. The happy couple received numerous costly and beautiful presents and many telegrams of congratulations from numerous friends in different parts of the State and district.
